Obituary of Marilyn J. Toner

Marilyn Jeanette Miller Toner passed away on 4-25-2024 at the age of 94.  She was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and moved to Florida with her family in 1958.  She raised her family and then went back to school to become and Registered Nurse (RN) working at St. Anthony's Hospital and later as an office nurse for a Urologist.  In addition, she was an artist exhibiting in many local art shows and teaching watercolor painting.  She also played piano and organ as well as taught piano lessons for many years.  After retirement, she took up quilting, making numerous quilts for friends and family.

Marilyn in preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Toner, her sister (Bevery Phillips), and her brothers, Guy W Miller, and Edward Miller.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Toner, her daughter, Carolyn Toner, and a grandson, Sean Toner, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to SPCA Tampa Bay or Feeding Tampa Bay.
