Williams, Willie James, “Catfish”
68, of St. Petersburg, died March 4, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born in Pavo, GA, he moved here in 1966 from Quitman, GA. He was formerly employed with A.D. Williams Masonry and was a member of Cedar Hill M.B. Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Barbara A. Fesser and a brother; Joseph Williams, Jr. Survivors include a companion, Lela Grant; son, Johnny James Williams; 4 grand-daughters, Shermicia, Fernecia, Quinecia and Ternecia Fesser; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Levy (Jeannie) Williams, Sr., A.D. Williams, Sr., Thomas (Polly) Williams, Sr., Arthur (Mary Lee) Williams, David Williams and Tarrence (Mae) Thomas; sisters, Clara (Joe) Adams, Sarah Williams, Brenda (Israel) Henry and Dorothy (Elvis) Lane; and a host of family and friends. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 10th from 5-8pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes, 2201 Dr. M L King St. N. Final arrangements will be handled by Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home in Quitman, GA.
