Lewis, Robert E.
83, of St. Petersburg, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ocala, FL, he came here in 1939 from Miami. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired after 42 years with the U.S. Postal Service and was a life deacon and member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eva Allen Lewis; children, Karen Marie Harris (John), and Randall E. Lewis; 3 grandsons, David (Kristine), Michael, and Daniel; great granddaughter Olivia Grace; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. There will be a visitation from 1PM until service time at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 1900 Gandy Blvd. in St. Petersburg.
