Obituary for James V. Rocco

In honor of James V. Rocco, passing on February 4, 2010. Private James Rocco has proudly served his country for 24 years. James was inducted into the Army on January 26, 1945 and there after was transferred to the Army reserve January 26, 1950. Prior to that he served in the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine. He served on the Sea Nymph, Elisha Mitchell, Henry Wilson, and Alanson B. Houghton. He retired in 1974. James was survived by his two sisters, Emily Dattalo and Antoinette Paulovitch and her husband Edward; his niece and care giver, Carmela Dattalo; and a ship load of nieces and nephews.
